The house is wonderful. If you like old houses or antiques you will love this. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the quiet area and that it was not in town but close enough to Brenham for convenience. The house is very clean and well stocked with linens, cooking utensils, basic pantry items.  Loved it so much that my mom and I want to come stay again and go antique shopping.

We have stayed at the cottage multiple times over the years and the location is just far enough out of the city. The host is great and the locals are friendly and treat you like family. Definitely worth the trip.

Cute little cottage! Lots of nice touches for things you may need from the hosts like ear plugs, headache medicines, coffee, etc. Would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chappell Hill.

The place is super cute and quaint. Not a bad distance from Brenham or Round Top. The house is fully stocked and as a curly headed gal that forgot products, I was super excited to find some mousse. That might not mean much to others but it did to me!

We absolutely loved Chappell Hill and the surrounding area and enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Sitting on the front porch and watching the deer was a treat. We would recommend the cottage for anyone looking for a nice getaway with plenty to do in the area.

Perfect for our decompress trip.  It's such a charming cottage and was perfect for us to just get away and chill. Very nicely furnished and decorated. The sofa and bed were quite comfy, something u don't always get. Washer/Dryer helped us pack fewer clothes. Owner was great, very communicative, accommodating and helpful with food suggestions. We loved the porch and spent every morning and evening there. Would 100% return.

Absolutely gorgeous location with ‘authentic country’ charm. It has so many touches (from the snacks and treats to the luxury shampoo) to make you feel like your home visiting family. There is nothing the host didn’t think of. I didn’t need half my stuff … it was all there!  The location was beautiful, the house so charming, but my favorite was the amazing shower that I never wanted to get out of. Highly recommended!

The cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. We enjoyed visiting the area for antiques and found treasures and nice folks in the town. The cottage is in a quiet area which allowed you to relax and enjoy the day. Thank you for having “just in case” items available. I have never seen that and was very impressed. What a great little cottage in a fun location. You can almost feel the history seeping from the walls. Located on the outskirts of Chappell Hill, it’s close to shops and restaurants in town, or (if your like me) it’s makes for a good base to go exploring the surrounding countryside on a motorcycle or car. I’ll be back.

We chose the cottage based on the location we were needing for our daughter’s wedding in Chappell Hill and were very pleased with the very pleasant surprise it was! It wasn’t just a place “to stay” ….it was cozy and comfortable !! Front porch morning coffee and afternoon happy hours were a joy . Chappell Hill will now always hold a special place in our hearts because of the wedding , but this special spot will be somewhere we’d love to come back to!! Thank you for your attention to detail!

Cottage is so warm and inviting! We instantly felt comfortable, like being at home. The kitchen and bathroom were both fully stocked with essentials. The king bed was amazingly sumptuous! And the front porch was sheer heaven! We enjoyed watching the cardinals and the rain from the cozy sofa on the porch! Host was always available for questions and recommendations, with quick and friendly responses! We would love to come back for another visit to this peaceful, cozy cottage!

Host is communicative and helpful! When I had to cancel my booking due to circumstances outside of my control, host did everything to help me find an alternative date to go to the cabin. Because of this, I was able to enjoy a beautiful anniversary weekend at this cabin with my husband. The cabin is also at a perfect location with a beautiful view.
